My wife and I have been twice to eat and hear our favorite bluesman Tab Benoit. Enjoyed the food and all the cool selection of beers. On the music side there is not a bad seat in the place. Very layed back. My last show I was seated at his feet for the show. It worked out great especially since I'm a photograher. You really feel like your having a show in your living room. Cool place and I'll go back.

Ok don't understand all of the great reviews. My husband and I went to dinner last night at Jewish Mother based on positive reviews. We both ordered a cup of matzo ball soup. The soup had a decent base but the Matzo was as tough as baseball, the chicken was even tougher (which i really dont understand how that could happen?), and to top it off it was luke warm. My husband ordered their special of the day which was bbq ribs. It was probably the worst tasting ribs i have ever tried and one piece was so tough that you couldn't even cut with a knife and fork. I ordered the pastrami on rye...it was at best ok...but by NO means would any Jewish family consider this worth trying a second time. The only item that was good was the onion rings. It's really a shame.

I can never look at a crayon without a smile. While enjoying music and atmosphere, I never could finish the Mediteranian Salad. God knows that I did try. The selection and variety of beers is quite impressive and enjoyable. All in all, both fond and delicious memories that will never fade, although I do know that my apron from there will.
